Formerly Custom Building Solutions; Heritage Joinery sought to rebrand and reposition themselves in the Austin, Texas marketplace as a family-owned and operated carpentry studio specializing in custom millwork. With the constantly growing competitive marketplace and influx of residents to the Austin area the Mendrala family needed to ensure their detailed craftsmanship and custom quotes set them apart from other large companies or national chains.

IDENTITY
It was clear in the beginning stages of the identity creation and conversations with the owners that the logomark was going to be literally branded on all of the custom millwork created so it was vital to make a symbol that was truly unique and instantly recognizable; thus the HJ anagram was born. This mark is consistent from any angle and still gives a nod to the name of the studio.
